Minus One for oneWorld

The Arbitration Panel has decided. oneWorld has to sign & accept the decision by the panel, pay a fine and accept their penalty. The decision is based on the fact that oneWorld did not disclose all breaches of the protocol, as surmised: theirs was a tactic to say 'look we made mistakes, be lenient' to hide greater crimes.

The net effect is that oneWorld would have to win 5 races in the semis, and if they advance, 6 in the finals and 6 in the America's Cup.

Which creates another conundrum. With a 7-race series, one could finish the 7-races with a 3-3 score (oneWorld losing one point) and not have a winner. How will they solve that?

Simply. Go Luna Rossa. Make it an unequivocal victory.

P.S. Team Dennis Conner wants to withdraw its application with the International Jury. Go figure.
